Most immediately, what's driving me to drink is that my contract expired and I am now Unemployed

This weekend, I'm going to watch the basketball and then get drunk tomorrow, and then probably do the same as you on Sunday

A former friend lied to me about being unjustly wronged (when in fact she did exactly what she was accused of), leading me to hate someone who didn't deserve it for well over a month. Thankfully I didn't do anything to cause problems for said person, but I still feel really stupid and guilty about the whole thing.

On the bright side, weekend plans involve working and catching up with another friend.

I just found out that my boss fired a co-worker that I had been training so I can stop doing the job I hate with every fiber of my fucking being. I HATE IT. And now I will be stuck doing this job until the end of fucking time. UGGHH.

Boo! Was it at least a justified firing?

I don't think so. He said her productivity wasn't great. I think it was just fine (said as the person who actually works on the machine EVERY DAY). But, he recently changed rules so we can only use the bathroom on breaks (I think I posted about this as anon?). If we have to use the bathroom more than our three scheduled breaks, we have to clock out for 15 minutes. She would clock out for once or twice a day to use the bathroom. I mean, it sucks but she had no other option than to like...pee on the floor?

Is that... even legal? Like... can you penalize someone for very literally needing to make sure they don't do their body harm by holding in their need to pee?

Oklahoma is an at will state so you can be fired for anything?

Yeah, and they'll cover their asses by making it out to be something else, too, so you can't get them on anything that MIGHT be illegal.

The weather has turned especially cold and wet and dreary, and it makes me so tired. I was away from home last weekend, so this weekend I need to do major chores and finish filing my taxes.

Sorry, I'm boring.

Bad news: broke my bike, lost my phone and my keys, got a nasty bruise on my thigh and a cut on my hand, it's already 2am I'm not sleeping and I should get up early tomorrow/later this morning.
Weekend plans: fix the bike, find a way to contact some guy about fixing the electricity at my house without a phone, get a new spare key, see some friends, agonize over whether I should buy books to cheer me up or be an adult and tone down the compulsive book buying thing until everything's settled again.

I'm afraid I'm going to run out of interests in life, and be doomed to an existence of boredom.

Also, depression, anxiety, lack of self-worth, writer's block.

My face still hurts because of this stupid sinus infection. Plus, I just perpetually have sinus issues in general, and my ENT is useless (I have a deviated septum, he can see it on the CT, but he insists that it can't be the cause of my sinus issues and that it must be seasonal allergies, which I don't have).

I had to get up at 5:30 this morning because my mom had to have a small stomach procedure done, and I had to drive her home. It went well, but I had such a bad night last night. Less than two hours of sleep. Bleh. Then the neighbors had workmen at their house, so I got barely an hour nap. I think I'm running on fumes right now, but I can't seem to sleep.

Oh, and, I saw the guy who wins bad driver of the year. So, there is this one intersection where you turn from a street to the access road for the highway. And of course there is a light. And there is a railroad track. In front of the railroad track there is room for one car (maybe two sometimes), and then you have to wait behind. So there was not enough room for me to wait behind the car in front of me, so I was behind the tracks. And some moron with a death wish decided to pull into oncoming traffic to pull around me so he could wait at the light halfway on the railroad tracks.

Weekend plans: Possibly getting a pedicure tomorrow (I'm in it for the massage chair). Watching more of this thing on Russia. Maybe watching the Empire Strikes Back in Spanish. Sleep. All the sleep.

I have a yeast infection >( I have no idea what caused it too, it's not like I've just finished a round of antibiotics or anything, so like....da fuck

And also I dropped my phone the ONE TIME it was out of its case for me to clean it so you know the screen done shattered. Today sucks.

Weekend plans: try and fix both issues, try to write an essay, try to see my boyfriend.

Bad News, intended to get lots of costume work done today and spent most of it with a horrible headache. I blame the shitty weather.

Weekend plans, head to a one day minicon tomorrow.
