I think the think with Willow if we want to get into character psychology is that she's also a serial monogamist. So her one-track mind interpreted Tara and the aftermath as "This is what I like now."


On an unrelated note, I never much cared for her character. Loved Tara, though. <3

That is an excellent point, and I can totally just see her with whoever saying "this is what I like now."

I really liked early High School Willow, but she never really had too much growth and kept too many of the High School characteristics. Also the whole magic-as-drugs storyline was so stupid and I hated what they did with her.

Tara is so underloved. She was awesome.

"magic = crack" was a terrible storyline, especially when "magic = love" was infinitely superior

I mean, like, you can say that if you want, but I think it would be good to mind that it goes against what the character actually does and thinks and says in the show.
