Not necessarily kinky (but can be kinky), but any recs for guys getting abducted/held captive? Particularly young pretty-boy type guys. I like abduction/captivity scenarios. Movies, TV shows, anime, books, whatever.

There's a whole sequence later in the manga that should be up OPs alley. Involving being tied up, gagged, etc etc. Several, actually. Eren gets kidnapped tons haha.

Actually I think I read the manga up to the part where Eren became a limb-less human backpack. Poor Eren, lol. I take it in the years I've not caught up with the manga he hasn't caught much of a break.

Not really, haha. It's less that he suffers constantly and more that Isayama has no freaking idea what to do with him as a character, and clearly doesn't relate to him much. Having Eren get kidnapped is a very convenient way to set him aside where he doesn't have to be paid attention to...

Aw, again. Poor Eren. Nothing sadder than a protagonist who gets zero love from his author. haha

I was debating whether or not to get back into the manga (I must be like two or three years behind now, and I'm not sure what that translates into chapters but I'm guessing a lot?) I really did like the characters and the scenario, but critics seem to say there's not a lot of development - and sounds like said lack of development happens to characters who should be the most important (Eren, Mikasa). I usually go for series that actually have a clear start and end and don't waddle about for 300 episodes, but Attack on Titan seemed pretty cool, plus the next anime season comes out, so idk.

Hmm, well, for a while there are some pretty cool discoveries and such. Some of the battles when we discovered more about Levi's backstory were awesome.
But character development has basically stopped, because Isayama doesn't actually know how to develop characters into the future - he develops the story by having more information be discovered about the past. It's a sort of retroactive development, where you see the characters differently BECAUSE THEY'RE ACTUALLY-!!. And then we got to the backstory of What Really Happened and... it's very bullshit. It went so far off the rails that it's in another galaxy by now.
