Re: What are your instant turn offs for characters that would normally attract you?
(Anonymous) 2017-04-05 05:53 am (UTC)(link)Going into a completely new environment and not only assuming you know how to succeed, but believing you will do better than people who've lived there their whole lives. There are untapped resources just waiting for someone to come and take advantage! It's all so easy and it's not at all suspicious no one else is doing this!
Also, slightly different but similar: that kid Into the Wild was about. (Never saw the movie, but I'd read a book years ago.) I guess I just hate a certain brand of hubris that encourages really bad decisions.
