What is everyone doing this weekend?

I think I am going to make homemade Twix bars this weekend OR a honey bun cake. Other than that, I will be sleeping a lot because I am taking allergy medicine. :(

probably spending most of it at the hospital visiting my dad. Might get some writing done if there's energy left.

I hope you find the energy to write something. Being in a hospital is no fun for anyone involved.

Feel you on the sleeping, I'm still recovering from the asthma attack I had last weekend :( Fortunately, I've recovered enough that I can actually sleep relatively peacefully now. Oh, and I'll be (re)reading Night Watch for the book club. It's okay if I cry, I've had a stuffed nose all week so it might actually help, since I'm the type who gets runny-nosed when she cries.

Glad you are feeling better! My nose gets runny when I cry but I think it'd just make the whole situation worse if I was stuffed up.

I had to go back and re-read to make sure. I am a bit dopey on allergy medicine and had to use heavily use auto-correct to write that. :P

Spending time alone with my cat for my birthday! :D

It's my dad's 60th birthday celebration this weekend so we're going out tomorrow to spend the whole day playing board games and we'll be going out for lunch on Sunday. So busy but should be fun.

That really does sound like fun. Do you know where you are going for lunch?

Well, though my sinus infection is on the mend, I now have the flu. So absolutely nothing since even getting out of bed to get food is an exhausting task right now. In between long naps and taking piles of pills probably watching episodes of Supergirl season 1. I need happy right now.

Tonight I'm drinking hot chocolate and reading. Tomorrow I'm taking my car to get inspected and going to a wine tasting plus a party at my sister's house.

Cleaning up tonight because Dad's visiting tomorrow to take Samson. We need to make the house look nice overnight and I need to make sure I look like a responsible adult who gets stuff done.

I'm gonna be trying extra hard to show him that I can do stuff on my own and I belong on my own.
