Maglor has always been my favorite of the Feanorians, and I agree that he didn't seem keen on the Oath. But he did go through with it, so I think he's fascinating. I wish there was some sense of what ultimately happened to him. Did he fade away to just a voice by the sea? He must've interacted with someone in all the time he's around, and I'd be curious who those people were and what happened. There's more story to tell - it's just not part of the epic.
