But seriously? EVEN PEOPLE WHO LIKE TWILIGHT INSULT THE SERIES. Come on. Sparkling vampires? 105 year old virgins? A main character who was intentionally made to be a Mary Sue? How can you NOT want to insult it?

So I suppose out of context it doesn't seem like that would be particularly laughable, but in context, it's pretty ridiculous. Being stuck in a 17 year old's body for eternity and not giving in to your hormones? Oh please, Stephenie Meyer. We know you're Mormon and you've got your values, but that's just unrealistic.

You know, it must be very hard being a ~beautiful and flawless~ guy who is able to read people's minds. How many times do you think Edward has had to keep a straight face while the 40-something woman he's talking to is mentally undressing him? Scary.

Seriously. How can you possibly argue the literary merit of 1500 pages worth of fluff and prose so purple that it'd make a 13-year old ff.net author hurl? MOCKING IT IS FUN. JOIN US.
Also, worst heroine ever. The werewolves are the only redeeming factor for me.

Yeah, seriously. I mean, I like the series well enough, despite the fact that I don't like either Bella or Edward--it's addictive and it's an easy, enjoyable read, but THERE'S SO MUCH TO MOCK. It's just too easy, really. I don't understand how people can take the book so seriously.
The wolves are definitely the best part, and they don't get nearly enough lovin'. If we don't get a lot of time with the pack in Breaking Dawn, I'll be very upset D:
