Just finished the season. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but it definitely maintained its trend of being movies-evocative without being straight rip-offs.

The new Murtaugh is too young tho. I can buy Riggs being a young punk, but Murtaugh seems like he should be guest starring in Black-Ish as Dre's younger brother or something.

Overall I liked it, mostly for the characters and their interactions. I don't like what they did at the end regarding Riggs' wife, though, and I'm leery about how they will handle the fallout next season.

Don't I wish. XII is my favorite FF and I would pre-order the Limited Edition in a heartbeat if I had a PS4, but as it is I probably won't even be able to afford a PS4 until the PS6 is out.

Attack on Titan Season 2

It's just come out, right? Or is starting to?

I want to watch it, but my memory of the first season is pretty vague. I know there's a lot of plot elements in it so I feel like I should rewatch the first season before tackling the new one.

I wonder why they waited so long to actually produce and release this though. I get waiting a year or so after the first season in order for the manga to get far enough ahead, but hasn't it been like three years?

Attack on Titan is serialized in a monthly magazine, so they probably had to wait a bit longer for that.

(I'm also hoping that they took the time to make it as perfect as possible for broadcast audiences and not just redo chunks of it for the Blu-ray release.)

Episode 3 of season 2 is out this Saturday. There's a compilation movie out there that should go over the major plot points.

And as the other user said. There was limited material right after S1 aired, but the studio also wanted to produce their own original series, so they pushed back the SNK even more. It's also probably why we are only getting 12/13 episodes.

I feel like one problem is animation companies do this all the time where they animate a manga that isn't finished and they inevitably get too far ahead if they keep to a tv production schedule, I kind of wish they would wait and go for finished stories.

I don't know what all the Attack on Titan problems were though, television production can be time consuming and there's any number of things that can happen.

In any case, I recommend rewatching the first season, especially since the second has just started anyway. I went ahead and did a rewatch because I forgot a lot as well, and I was definitely glad I did when I started watching the second season because they pretty much pick up right after the season 1 finale.

Playstation 4 games not on Vita

So I'm thinking of getting a PS3 or PS4 for Persona 5, some time when I actually have an income again. I own a computer and a Vita. What other good Playstation games are not available for PC or Vita?

Infamous:Second Son is a PS4 exclusive title and I think it's lots of fun.

I actually found myself wishing this movie was longer. I wanted more about the Section 9 team (I kept blinking and missing people). Anyway, I liked it.
