I desperately, desperately wish I liked Cucumber Quest. The art is PRECIOUS, and I do like the characters a lot, but the story and pacing is just... so dull and boring that I genuinely can't keep reading it. I keep having to go back and re-read parts because I just glazed over while trying. I finally gave up, and it breaks my heart a little.

This are my feelings exactly regarding all of the three comics in the secret. I feel so frustrated, I love the art and characters, but the storytelling and pacing are just dull.
Agents look great and I love the chars and the setting, but I don't feel any connection or friendship between the main cast. Monsterkind feels like the artist just likes her "yaoiz" and likes drawing her OCs with different expressions so we get pages and pages of them blushing at each other and no story progress. And CQ - same as you said - just boring, and I read CQ in one go, without waiting for updates. I'm on page 150+ now and I don't want to continue since nothing interesting really happened.
