I'm going with a friend and we're using this as a trial run to see if we can travel together. We've been debating going to Ireland together but as we've never gone anywhere together, I want to make sure we can travel together before we jump in to a 10 day trip.

I really love DC and I know there's no way we'll get to do everything (plus we aim to avoid the White House/Capitol because we're trying to avoid the protests)

It's Tax March this weekend. Not like Women's March big, but still, we're just going to avoid that because we're going to be tourists and enjoy the city.
