As long as a work contains, nor has involved any actual (RL) children or animals, and is not being peddled to them I frankly cannot give a fuck. Put a disclaimer on that puppy (ha) and you do you. I'd rather you express it in a way that doesn't harm anyone. As to the people claiming that it being in fanworks/etc is somehow 'normalizing' it -- how even would you do that unless the people reading it literally exist only on the internet? People know its wrong to do irl. That's why its illegal and everyone hates child molesters. There isn't any doubt that it's harmful and awful, so it's not like having weird shit on the internet (where weird shit is intended to be) is going to somehow make it socially acceptable.
