I agree with this. Trans or cis headcanons she's still a girl, it's made pretty explicit in the show and the staff always treat her like a girl. I won't bother people if they see her as non-binary but it just doesn't make sense to me and seeing her being called anything other than she/her in fics can be really grating. I think I have seen one person saying Pidge is male and I just boggle, have they even seen the show? And definitely agree that it's irritating that this mostly happens to the only female paladin.

Also? Nonbinary people can still use she/her/hers (or he/him/his) pronouns.

Yeah, you really can't get any more explicit than the character saying "I'm a girl" (and getting everyone's attention before doing it lol). Whether she's cis or trans doesn't really have any bearing on that - I don't personally headcanon her as trans but if people do, then cool. But I agree, non-female pronouns for her in fic is very grating (unless it's from the POV of a character from a time period where they thought she was male, like Lance at the garrison).
