Yep. I remember trying to watch it early on and I got tired of it like five episodes into the first book and just gave up.

A couple months ago, I ended up bingeing the whole thing with someone who had the whole series and after I pushed through all the Equalist stuff I actually started caring about what was happening to the characters.
