For some reason, ever since I was a kid, I've been fascinated by Tzarist Russia. Not sure why. But I love reading about anything from early Kiev and Muscovy all the way to Nicholas II.

Ancient Rome. The Celts also interest me.

And the development of military history. Not modern stuff, but ancient warfare through middle ages and maybe up to the 17th or 18th centuries.

Also the ancient Aztecs and Mayans. Actually, the Mayan people in general.

Military history through the 18th century is so fascinating. Gets a lot less interesting after that though.

Also I should definitely read more about Mesoamerican history, it definitely seems fascinating, there's just so much stuff out there.
