Has anyone here tried shrooms, bonus points if you've ever tried growing them!

I've never tried drugs but lately I've heard some anecdotal stories about how it can help with PTSD and I'm warming up to the idea of giving it a shot to see if it helps. Helpful hints? Horror stories? Vaguely related anecdotes?

I tried shrooms once. It was pretty decent, and I would definitely do it again/recommend others to try them. Basically, my experience was about 20 minutes to half an hour of mild, pleasant hallucinations and psychedelic shit, then fading into what felt like a very long-lasting, clean, intense, excellent marijuana high. Very pleasant and enjoyable. Haven't tried growing them but from what I've heard it's reasonably easy.

Obviously, I have no idea with regards to using them for therapeutic reasons, I am not a doctor, etc etc. Also, read up on them on Erowid if you haven't already.

I've never tried 'em, but i have had to babysit people who took too many and spent half the night staggering around and almost into a campfire.

So don't do that. :)
