Medical question

If your stomach and your calves are sore, what does that mean. It is two body parts that really are not connected, yet my stomach aches and my calves have this warm and heavy pain in them. What do you all reckon that means?

I...don't think it means anything as far as one relating to the other. It means you have a stomachache and your calves hurt. Two separate things that probably have two separate causes.

The part for my hydroponics unit didn't arrive today. I knew it would be tomorrow or even Friday before it would arrive. I got stuff dying, which isn't weed okay, because the 'ponics are not working here. Dammit.

Dude, what part are you missing? Maybe you're not growing weed, but people who do are usually pretty invested in it not dying. There's probably 6 youtube videos showing how to MacGyver your part out of a spiral notebook, a stapler and three twinkies.

US income tax question

Has anyone ever had to deal with tax fraud? I filed an extension yesterday for myself and (I had her permission) for my mom, only to find out both were rejected because someone had filed returns using our social security numbers. So now I'm freaking out. Apparently I have until 4/23 to file a paper extension without penalty, and I have to fill out IRS identity theft paperwork. I'd like to call the IRS, but I imagine I'd be on hold for hours. Any advice?

Shit, was I ever wrong about this game? I got it for Christmas, but never played it because I always had the notion that it was a game series played by scumbag men. You know, Jocks, ass holes, fuck-men, sports fans. The type of guy who use the N-word on mic and don't like women, people of colour, or gays playing video games.

I'd not actually met those types of people playing games, but i had this very clear idea of who they were, even tho I don't think of myself as particularly socially progressive, I knew this truth about how these gamers existed and I hated them. Even this gamergater right here had been convinced that this type of scum existed and exclusively played CoD, so obviously the reason I never met them was because I don't play CoD or Madden or all those other douchebag games.

I always assumed it was a shit game for shit people. I was SUPER wrong. It is just a brilliant game, with interesting, real feeling characters that I genuinely came to love, and I was fucking devastated when they died. Beautiful emotive game, wonderfully written, and more than that fun too.

Where as I always thought of Bioware games as being the pinnacle of well written characters and emotive story telling, but I look at Mass Effect Andromeda, and I compare it to CoD:AW, and I just think: What happened? CoD:AW just outclasses ME:A in every way as a sci-fi game.

Controversial opinion

I think inner cities were nicer places to live when the buildings were in a bit of disrepair. I'm not talking full on slum and rookery with people crammed 20 to a room, but a bit of graffiti, the occasional missing stair and broken window, some crumbling brickwork and slow garbage pick up. When the bridge and tunnel crowd was the rich folks living out in distant suburbia and vacant lots were not full of construction equipment. I think that cities were better places to live then. Certainly a lot more fun.

I've never tried drugs but lately I've heard some anecdotal stories about how it can help with PTSD and I'm warming up to the idea of giving it a shot to see if it helps. Helpful hints? Horror stories? Vaguely related anecdotes?
