I hadn't included reasons, cause I mean, everyone's free to like what they want to. I was just feeling a little lonely in it because I don't run into a lot of people who dislike the pairing, and I wasn't out to sway anyone one way or the other. ;; I'm not usually so vague.

But for me...a lot of it's that I feel like Ahiru's too young really. Especially going by canon ages, where girl!Ahiru is 13 and Fakir is 17. I know four or five years isn't a big deal, really...but it kind of is when the people in question are younger, you know? I have a younger sister who's about Ahiru's age now and I know we'd all be sort of upset if she started going out with a high school upperclassman, regardless of how well she knew him. :( And it tends to bother me in fandom for that reason, but I recognize that it's mostly my own experience. ^^;

Similarly though, because she turns into a duck at the end, anything over like PG to me feels extremely squicky somehow because unless it's Alternate Universe, it's things like that going on way too early, and if it's not AU (like...omg she's a girl again!?! AU) then it has to be her at 13. :c

That was a long ramble, but that's just my personal opinion on the matter. :3
