01. But you will never get proper closure... but then again you won't be disappointed with a shitty ending.

03. Actually this game tried to undo prolly one of the most powerful FF endings the franchise had and had a singing Yuna. So fuck no, it was worse than what game you stated.

36. I prolly lose any chance of being taken seriously in this forum, but I always felt that people miss the whole point of Naruto's character. Yes, he's hyper, somewhat arrogant and can be annoying, the series constantly tells you that it was an act he plays and can be very serious and cunning when the time for it comes. Plus it's HARD to put down a mask you been using constantly for years. Plus, he clamed down considerably now so people should stop acting like he's the same kid he was in Chapter/Episode 1. Ah, Naruto, I hate your series now, but I never really found you annoying.

37. I hate this show and that Meg constantly gets put down. It was amusing at first but it looks pretty malicious and not funny anymore. IIRC, in the early episode it wasn't like that, at least not to that degree.

41. I love Gaiman's stuff, especially his works on Books of Magic and Sandman. I need to buy them, seriously. It convinced me that not all comics were crappy superohero fare back in high school.

46. I'm glad you know your secret smell of troll. BECAUSE PAIRING IS SERIOUS FUCKING BUSINESS, RIGHT? You don't have to like non-canon pairings, but don't you dare think I don't get the canon, and sometimes the canon can give two shits about some pairing or romance at all. For most people, the universe of any series is not a static one but a progressing on, in that things, like couples, change. I don't care if you don't like non-canon pairing, but I admit I look down at people who think people who do are idiots because they're not playing with your series in a way you don't like.

55. YES. KEIGO SUCKS. It's hard enough to learn one form of it, it's tear-inducing to learn how to speak two different versions of it. While it's not neccesary to speak it, it would impress your superiors. But honestly, they don't expect nothing but for you to speak in neutral speech.

67. I never have a problem in following CLAMP's battle and basing their art only on battle scenes is not a proper way to do it.

70. And shootan games and fightan games any different. Most of them you just point and shoot or press a certain amount of buttons. But honestly if you think that every battle system in JRPGS are the same, YOU NOT PLAYING ENOUGH OF THEM. And yes, you still have to use strategy in fighting too.

72. I always felt he got the short end of the stick as far as anyone in that game goes.

I've played all the Xenosaga games, most of the FF series, A couple Dragon Quest games, a couple Fire Emblem games, all the Kingdom Hearts games, three Shin Megami Tensei games, stuff like Baroque and Etrian Odyssey, a handful of Mana/Seiken Densetsu games, four of the Tales games, Grandia II and III, the first .hack game, Star Ocean 1 and 3, Eternal Sonata, stuff like Castlevania: Curse of Darkness that's basically an RPG, gahhh Earthbound, Romancing Saga, and probably more I forget.

Is my opinion valid yet?

Where does Castlevania fit in with the above list?

Was it Xenosaga that made you think this? 'Cause Xenosaga's the reason I'm tempted to agree with you. I am one dungeon before beating the final friggin' game and I'm hellbent on doing it on principle, but it has been so, so painful dragging myself through the boring battle system and even more boring "sidequests."

To be honest, though, I think that innovation is lacking all over the industry. Every genre is repeating themselves into nonexistence. RPGs make it more criminal because they're repeating not only the boring gameplay, but a lot of the plot elements, too.

Not really because there's quite of difference of battle systems compared to FF to Tales to Star Ocean (although you're missing out from the best of the series, 2. 3 took out too much what made it stand out and become a sleeper hit), there's Suikoden, Chrono Trigger/Cross, Threads of Fate and Legend of Legaia. I think you're being too picky.

Personally, I think SRPGs are more stale than a regular one because it takes entirely too long to do a battle because you're moving all over the board.

There's no more variety in other games either.

Mm, I know they're pretty much canon. That's why it's more that I just personally dislike it than me going "IT'S NOT CANON YOU'RE ALL CRAZY." It's just my own preference. :)

A lot of Japanese people can't speak proper keigo. It's not easy! ...I sort of like the sound of it though.
