Sorry to offend you with my opinion, as the purpose of this being on a blog is so people can comment.

The way I read it, she was saying that she was giving up on school to watch anime. She's the one wasting either her own money, her parents or the scholarship she got to watch a show she won't even care about in five years.

Also, I've been in counseling and it never hurts. *shrug*

...And why wouldn't a person care in five years? There are a lot of things that I care about five, six, even ten years later.

I just don't know what it would be good for in this situation. It's not like they're unhappy, just watching a show. And that's all we know. :/

LOL, I'm not trying to pick a fight here. A person can like whatever they like whenever they like - but there are things that go by the wayside that seemed really important at the time.

I reviewed the secret again and I am wrong, she is just taking a break and does not need intervention.

Still, there are people who do, and ten years ago I was one of them. I like to think I care about other people, I thought I could help a stranger because I related to a situation. I misinterpreted her words, and thus superimposed my own experience onto it. I jumped to conclusions, made assumptions, and made myself look foolish (and probably am now).

I was reading through the secrets too fast and made a mistake. I lost my temper at your first response, which was inappropriate. I apologize.

I'm at fault as well. I get kind of knee-jerky when I think I see the "college > all other things in life" mindset. ^^;
