People who don't know how to write a review for a product. "I liked it" is not a review. "I didn't like it" is not a review. Complaining about slow delivery service for said product is not a review, neither is complaining that you didn't get the product at all or it arrived damaged. Complaining about buying a product in one place only to find it cheaper/on sale elsewhere is also not a review.

Details make a review! You didn't like the thing? Okay, why? Was it too big, too small, not as it was depicted on the site, didn't work like it was supposed to? It wasn't what you were expecting? Okay, why? Was it too expensive for what it was? Again, why, what were you expecting? Tell us! Oh, you liked the thing? That's great, now tell us what about it made you like it so much! You love the color, you love the fit, you love using it, those are good details for a review, include them! You can do it!

I don't mind so much mentioning that it arrived damaged, just....it's not a review, like you said. Have a note but it shouldn't be the bulk of your write up.

Ayart

Oh I agree, including information about damage is important and should be included, I'm talking about things like "ordered on 3-12-17, never got it". Okay, that really sucks, but did you contact the company and let them know? What happened with that? Tell us! That kind of thing.

To add onto this, reviews for books or movies that aren't actually reviews, just extended summaries.

"In this movie, Sandra Bullock and Johnny Depp do a thing." WOW REALLY I DIDN'T KNOW THAT FROM THE TRAILER.

Yeah I don't like when product reviews are full of people like complaining about Amazon or something, that has nothing to do with the actual product.

Plus it's actually really easy to contact amazon and complain directly and that gets far more done then complaining in their reviews.

Ia, how is bitching about Amazon in a supposed book review going to help anything? Answer: it's not! Contact Amazon if you have a problem with their service.

Also, don't change everything about a recipe and then make a review complaining it was gross. Yes, it will be gross if you change it so much it's not even the same recipe anymore.

I almost never follow a recipe and I really like reviews where other people described what they tweaked when they made it but the yucckers are obnoxious. If you go off-road you take the consequences knowingly!
