Re: What's the worst physical pain you've ever experienced?

I feel like I've been both extremely lucky and extremely klutzy in my life, so it's kind of a tough call. My worst "son, you done fucked up" moment was probably the time I grabbed a hot cast iron pan (didn't realize it was hot) and my hand went fucking numb. When the feeling came back, it was bad.

Holy shit, bone deep shiver thinking about the time I got a comparatively *minor, minor* burn on a woodstove. A+ descriptive writing.

Honestly, the part that sticks in my mind the most is how my brain kind of shorted out for a second and refused to process that I was actually burning myself. Like, I don't think I actually held on to the pan for that long, but there was definitely a pause until my brain actually caught up to what my hand had just done.
