1. If you hate it so much, you should look into playing dating sims (that aren't made by KEY) because you can choose the girl you want to be with.

2. I know, pairings are not always romantic. There are several pairings I like in fandom, but are not romantic parings, I just like seeing the characters together.

3. I know! I used to want to be a mermaid so badly. Not so much anymore, but I would if I were given the chance. I think Ariel just wanted a change.

4. I really found myself bored with this game too. I really hated how some of the characters seem kinda thrown in there <.<

11. To me, icon credit is just a way of telling the creator "Thanks for making this, it looks great!" and a way for other lurkers to say "Oh wow, that's really nice looking! I should see what else this person makes."

Being anal about it is kinda annoying, but I think if someone requests others to not use certain icons, it's better to respect their wishes and not steal it and cause tons of drama.

I love Zelos and Lloyd (Tales of Symphonia) as BEST BUDS FOREVAR!!!111 and Lloyd and *Spoiler* as platonic family lurve, in addition to Lloyd and Colette being my OTP of like, forever. XDD;;; So yeah, I know what you're talking about.

:D I'm so glad that someone knows what I mean! I also love the "best of enemies" parings like Zell/Seipher in Final Fantasy XIII. They were so funny to watch together XD~!

On a (semi-)Unrelated note, I bought Tales of Symphonia for my boyfriend for Christmas and he's yet to play it! I wanna watch him play it so I can see the story~!

I also like Lucy/Kouta (from Elfen Lied) as a one-sided "I'll always love you from the shadows even though I hurts you srry about that" kind of way.

Oh yeah, I'd kill to see a good Lloyd/Colette/Zelos love triangle. Particularly Lloyd <-> Colette <- Zelos <-PLATONIC-> Lloyd. If that makes any sense. :D;;;

Ah, ok I get it now. I guess when someone says "pairing" I automatically think of romantic ones. Hmmm maybe you can distinguish the best friends relationship as a "buddy pairing" or does that sound too lame?

There could be a lot more of best friends pairing in fan fiction I agree.

Well, I really think the general understood rule is "pairing" means "romantic pairing" but I usually do clarify and say "Not as romantic but as *insert different pairing here*" I don't think that "buddy pairing" sounds too lame, but it would be good if there could be a way to clarify since the world does not revolve romance.

Yes, that would be nice! Even some "best of enemies" fan fiction would be good too :D
