10) Not to be wanky or anything, but in any sort of acting, a part of you is going to be in the character you play, particularly in roleplaying, even if you are really good. Albeit making characters just like you is Mary Sue-ish and unskilled, but whether the player sees it or doesn't, there are going to be some traits in them that they didn't intend that are similar to themselves. *shrug* Just offering my two cents.

Totally agreeing with this. I'm hellbent on annihilating all of the Mary Sues within the universe, but, even I can acknowledge that if your character and yourself had NO relation at all, you wouldn't be able to play it.

That and little tidbits tend to get in during the creation process. :D
