I agree with you, mostly because I've had some good experiences on Tumblr and enjoy the format a lot more than I enjoy any other social (or anti-social) internet media right now. (I do think of it as a bit anti-social because you never have to interact with other people if you don't want to, say, in actually conversing with them. I get behind that sentiment a lot right now! It's great for people with social anxiety, as long as you don't get into ask-boxes and discussions. They are actually very easy to avoid.)

OTOH, are the complainers WORSE than people who say "kill CIS men?" (FYI: I understand the anti-meninist / anti-patriarchy sentiments, although the overblown sentiments do more harm than good, whether meant literally or not, and it's best to stick with less incendiary speeches, of which there are plenty that are actually helpful out there, including on Tumblr.)

Anyway. Not sure how to actually compare "which is worse" but I DO DEFINITELY AGREE. Tumblr is fun, people who whine about it are usually shitty, and it's not THAT hard to avoid the stuff you don't want to see / be involved in. (This is speaking as someone who never figured out how to use X-Kit or block tags; I just follow blogs I like and block porn blogs, etc.)

I could have written this. My experience exactly.

"people who whine about it are usually shitty"

People who disagree with me usually are shitty people anyways. Yup, you sound like a tumblr user.

Idk if Tumblr Savior is why I never see all this ridiculous fandom stuff or if it's just that my fandoms are really boring but I definitely agree with you.
