IDK, I don't think this is snobby. I have a lot of things that I feel very lonely in how I want them written, and I enjoy my own writing for giving that to me. I wouldn't say it's the right way to write the characters but I see no reason not to own to it being my preferred way. I always hope that when I write my headcanons, someone else will latch onto it and then there will be more of it in fandom.
