- I thought How to Get Away With Murder and Heroes respectively were going to be more "the group pulls and eventually works together." I didn't mind the separate arcs as much because I assumed there would be more joining together. Instead it was largely everyone acting against each other, or at least being hesitant allies, which was part of what made me lost interest in both shows.

- I thought Being Human was going to be a dark comedy. Apparently it originally was envisioned as a dark comedy, so I wonder if I heard about plans for the show while it was in those stages. But it's also possible the vague description - "a ghost, a werewolf and a vampire are roommates" made me think comedy more than a dark drama that made Torchwood look light and funny.

No, I'm pretty sure I remember them advertising Being Human as a dark comedy. Very disappointed in that one.
