due to depression, or just because you've moved on or outgrown the interest?

I've noticed that I just don't care about all the things I used to be pretty passionate about, and I'm trying to figure out if it's depression rearing it's head or if I'm just...done with those things?

For me, i would say: has your attention and interest shifted to other things, or are you just uninterested in anything?

Key is to figure out if there's something else you are passionate about, if there's really nothing then it's probably depression.

Are you passionate about different things now, or just kind of not super into anything anymore? Because the latter is probably depression.

General interest in nothing, short of reading fic and browsing F!S.

I can't tell if I'm depressed or just haven't found a new interest. I'm leaning towards depressed, which is a pain in the ass. I was dealing well with the regular depression, I thought, but apparently it's snuck up on me again.

Do you want to be interested in things? Do you have energy or, like, pep and giddy-up? If not, yeah, probably depression.

And that's the thing with depression. That motherfucker sneaks up on you from behind and jumps on your ass.

I'd say that if it was depression, you'd lose interest in pretty much everything rather than just one specific thing.
