Heaven and That Other Thing (Steve/Bucky) http://archiveofourown.org/works/5482511/chapters/12667736 Bucky Barnes is the owner of a cat sanctuary in Brooklyn, an ordinary guy by the Avengers' low standards, and a growing problem for America's favourite captain. Steve Rogers is publicly straight, endlessly bored, and has a habit of not fully thinking through his decisions when Bucky is around. Has a very funny Steve. I love it!

He didn't mean to adopt a dog, or two, or four...Or a goat, a cat, a horse- wait, is that a lion?

Bucky was badly injured, and for days Steve fed him the only way he could with no supplies on hand but a sharp knife. Bucky didn't understand what was happening at the time, and afterward there was never a good time to tell him--but now that Steve knows what he really did for Bucky, the secret is going to have to come out. heed warnings this has cannibalism (sort of vore). As someone who can't watch Hannibal because cannibalism skeeves me out, I had no problem with this one. But that could be because of the characters.
