Nicolas Cage in just about every role he played.

so you liked him in ... Moonstruck? Seriously?

(I liked him in Raising Arizona and Nat Treas, and he was okay in Face/Off I guess, but not much else that I can think of off hand.)

I think even the most stalwart Cage hater would have to admit he's great for the part he plays in Bad Lieutenant Port of Call New Orleans

no one else could have played that part that well

Well, his version of The Wicker Man was certainly a trip.

8mm was awesome.

Face off was perfectly cast, just beautifully done.

The rock was fun. Fuck you, I want Michael Bay to get ALS and early onset Alzheimer's as much as anyone, but that movie was pretty brilliant.

He was just fantastic in Kick Ass.

I didn't hate him in Gone in 60 seconds. Although the main reason I watched it was Ms Jolie in blond dreadlocks.

He's not always a good fit, but when he is, it's sublime.

He was just fantastic in Kick Ass.

He and Chloe were the best parts of the movie.

It's a movie nobody remembers, but I liked him in Bringing Out The Dead. And The Rock was just awesome cheese.

I liked him in The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

I thought he was really funny in Peggy Sue Got Married.

And I did like him in Moonstruck - he was over the top, but it fit the movie.

Guarding Tess wasn't bad.

Leaving Las Vegas was depressing as all get out, but he turned in a pretty good performance.

I was never really a fan of Valley Girl or Raising Arizona (which, honestly, if you were growing up in Arizona at the time, chances were, you were going to see this movie), but I didn't think that he was bad in them.

Aw, nah he's so fun to watch though.

The last time I saw Leaving Las Vegas was a decade ago, and I was eighteen at the time, so it's possible his performance in that wasn't as excellent as I remember, but I remember it being pretty damn strong. I mean, it was extremely unpleasant to watch from beginning to end, but it was a powerful performance.
