Sansa as Jean Grey.

I wouldn't probably say that J.Lawrence was awful as Mystique, but still a lot worse that Rebecca Romijn-Stamos.

Yeah I was disappointed Sophie could not pull off her part at all. I'm also disappointed that even with the soft reboot they couldn't manage to make better casting decisions. I can't believe the original X-men movies had better casting even with Rogue and Storm being completely wrong.

Storm was wrong. Rogue was not. Rogue suffered from bad writing.

Yeah Sophie Turner was not a good Jean Grey. And Rebecca Romijn managed to sell her character so well that I forgot I was looking at an almost-naked woman in blue paint. With Jennifer Lawrence, the blue paint is all I see.

Sophie is just a bad actor. She has the worst line delivery of the entire GOT cast.

Rebecca Romijn should still be playing Mystique. She could do alluring and sympathetic villain well. Lawrence couldn't do a villain to save her life so they either had to drop the cahcow actress of the time or FUCKING BUTCHER MYSTIQUE.

THEY FUCKING BUTCHERED HER. FUCKING MURDERED. FUCK.

I did not care for the direction they took her character in X-men.

It didn't help that the character got changed from a mutant supremacist who, with Destiny, was monkeywrenching governments and writing manifestos before Magneto. Instead, they made her into sexy sidekick, little sister, and love-triangle lust object.

(And yes, I'm just a bit miffed that Black Panther is probably going to follow the trend of making canon LGBTQ characters hidden in the movie properties.)

Showing my ignorance here a bit, but who's LGBT in Black Panther? Not read many BP comics.

Two of his bodyguards are in a relationship. It's been in the news, but I've not been following Marvel/DC for years, so I don't know the details.

I wish Ms. Lawrence had better range, or was at least able to change her voice some.

Could be worse, I guess.
