But not as a remake - instead, as a continuation, like Gilmore Girls. (So, FRIENDS with all of the gang in their mid-late forties.)

I actually think FRIENDS now would be kind of interesting. Although they'd probably give Rachel and Ross more drama, so meh.

And I wish now that it's technically been given to us that the Harry Potter play had been more focused on where the other characters are now. Instead we got a batshit plotline I refuse to consider canon no matter what JKR says.

I think that's why I love Fantastic Beasts so much. It's set in such a different side of the wizarding world, with characters we know nothing about.

The play's plotline is ridiculous.

AYRT - Same. The movie works because it's new, fresh canon.

Or more Doctor Who. They haven't made any new episodes of that since 2012.

I could go for adult Buffy training other Slayers.

I honestly don't get why Joss never tried to cash in back when there was a vampire craze, there's so much he could still do, adult Buffy, Fray, continue Angel etc.

Plus I'd love to see Buffy with better special effects/makeup.

God no. And Joss has said before that if Buffy were to continue in a live action format, the comics would no longer be canon.

Justified. Even though it wrapped up nicely, I really miss Raylan and Boyd and everyone. A Tim and Rachel spin-off would be great too.

I want a post-election Parks and Rec where Leslie and co take on Trump.

(It does suck that the whole 2017 plotline is shot so badly. Like, I don't think Leslie could ever work in Trump!DC. Or maybe she'd bring him down, she was pretty badass.)

Oh man I completely forgot about how Parks went into this time period. The writers were sadly more optimistic about our future then was realistic...

Even in a TV show, what storyline do you write?

I want more Inception but about any character other than Cobb's.

NBC's Kings. It only had once season back in 2009 but it ended on such an open note! (intentionally, I suppose). And I mean, technically we all know how it's going to end but I really wanted to see how they got there.

Though even if somebody wanted to try and bring it back (probably on a channel other than NBC)...I doubt the actors would come back for it.

I listened to a panel with Michael Green and Ian McShane and Ian mentioned about being on this network show that only lasted 9 episodes (in reference to Kings) and said "well that's what you get for being on a network"

Michael Green is a producer/writer for American Gods and because of Kings approached Ian McShane about American Gods.

Part of me wants a continuation of That 70s Show just because I grew up with it and love it dearly, but another part of me thinks that it was so perfect as a 70s period piece that it just could not possibly be as much fun in a continuation. The main characters birthdates, looking at the timeline of the show, are almost exactly the same as my parents, so if they were to move them forward into adulthood and pick up the show at a time when they were all settled into adulthood, it would have to be the late 80s at the earliest and it wouldn't be the same.

Recently went in there for first time in 10 months. It's...still so fucking empty, constantly being attacked by the endless spawning enemy fodder of annoyance.

I like the sci fi, the stories, the idea but oh god the execution fails
