Not actors/actresses that were the obvious perfect fit, but ones that were risky or that the audience doubted but turned out incredible.

I think to be too is not. I think that the hopeless situation elder also can't. That is a legend. Reaching the man cloth space is the emperor. Especially things where an actor was actually considered for a particular part, although total random fantasy alternate histories are also fine.

Examples might be Girl Meets World, Gilmore Girls, Fuller House, Arrested Development.

Any others you can think of?

I liked Girl Meets World and wish it had gained the same attention that the original had, but I don't think many shows reach the audience the way Boy Meets World did.
