Is there any kind of official announcement for any fandom-related thing that you're dying to here? Your favorite series greenlit for another season? An anime getting a live action adaptation? A video game getting remade? Your favorite actor joining the cast of your show? Can be "negative" news, too - a remake getting cancelled, a TV series getting pulled, a comic getting discontinued.

How likely is this news to actually happen?

A few days ago I would have said "a Jackie Chan Adventures continuation". Now I'd have to amend that to "a Jackie Chan Adventures continuation with an actual plot connection to the original". Be careful what you wish for, and all that.

Nnnot very likely, but I can dream.

Will also settle for a reboot that keeps to the spirit of the original.

I want Yuri on Ice season 2 to be announced, preferably to be released this year! Or maybe so it coincides with the Winter Olympics. C'mon, Yuri's got to beat Yuzuru Hanyu's free skate record.

I like to think a season 2 is like a 95% possibility since season 1 did so well and the ending deliberately opened the possibility of a season 2.

I dream about the Watch TV series (Discworld) at least once every week. I act like I'm too jaded to get my hopes up, but every now and then we get a 'We're working on it, promise!', and I hope so much

Kingdom Hearts 3... either release it or just tell us it's dead and not happening. KH3 is the reason I have trust issues.

I'm counting on about five sequels / reboots getting announced any day now.

Or that Netflix has bought the rights to Cirque Du Freak from Universal so we can get a proper adaptation.

Remake getting cancelled? I'll take Final Fantasy VII for $500.

But I would take an awesome remake of VI.

That the Obi-Wan movie is actually going to happen (and the rumored trilogy of Obi-Wan movies happens, even better). My favorite Star Wars character.

An Organa family movie would be great as well. I'll take a book too. Anything with Bail and Breha and young Leia.

That Peter Capaldi changes his mind and will stay for one more season. Won't happen, but I really want to see what another showrunner would do with him. Plus, I just love 12.

A new chapter on the WIP fic I'm currently reading. This is the one most likely to happen, though the author lately has only been updating every few months. She did say there would be a new chapter within a week or two, hopefully. So fingers crossed.

I'd love it if Man With A Mission would decide to include a gig in Sweden on their European tour this year. Preferably on a date that I can manage. I can't afford to go to Helsinki just now.

personally just waiting for the announcement for which new characters are being added to Dynasty Warriors 9 and then see the new costumes so I can crow about which ones suck. this announcement is going to happen sometime this year.

what I wish for, on the other hand, is that they finally make Cheng Pu and Wang Ping playable and that Zhao Yun's new costume doesn't suck so I can finally cosplay him. these things are far less likely to ever be real.

The Ai no Kusabi remake is actually going to be finished.

... I mean it's been like five years or something but hey.

That the ReBoot reboot is getting cancelled.

I'd quite like to hear about a new darkstalkers game.

Agents of SHIELD season 5.

I just want to know when my favorite villain will be returning to the IDW Transformers comics again so I can prepare for ~~my feels to be wrecked because of~~ that smug chainsaw-flailing asshole.

WIll Vento Aureo get animated or not? I gotta know man I gotta kNOW

A fourth Golden Sun game, or at least a high-quality remake of the first two games to draw more attention to the series. I don't think it will ever happen, though...

if and when Chance is filming in the SF bay area again

I want the Silver Chair movie they were supposedly working on like 4 years ago to actually happen. Of course, they'd probably recast Eustace, which would make me a sad panda because eyebrows mcgee whose name I can't remember was the PERFECT Eustace. But I don't think we're going to get that movie ever, which saddens me, because TSC is one of the more crazily creative of the Narnia books and I was really looking forward to seeing it brought to life.

Pokemon Gen 4 for the Switch and preferably in a style similar to Breath of the Wild.

Just go ahead and spit out the fact that Rey is Luke's kid. Daisy has already confirmed that with one of her latest interviews comparing TFA and how the fans are reacting the same way as people did to Vader's confession of being Luke's dad (as in they didn't believe it back when EsB came out) and saying that she understood who Rey's parent was by the end of TFA.

She didn't out right say it, but she may as well have.

Pokemon Snap 2 or at least a spiritual successor of some sort.

Given that Touhou 16 has been announced, for once I am officially content fandom-wise.
