Amor Real, a Mexican soap opera by Univison
ZORRO: La Rosa y la Espada, a soap opera by TELEmundo (idk if it's mexican, Venezuelan, or a mix)

Mostly Hispanic soap operas. They do 1700s--1800s so well. And a Spanish series called La Aguila Roja. Shout out to Xica, a Brazilian soap opera with one of the first black female leads (In Latin American television). These two novelas are also period pieces. I love all this!

Also, I heard Wolf Hall was great, though ive5ywt to check it out. Leaky Blinders is amazing as well (post ww1 Birmingham, England, features some ptsd, gangsters you want to cheer for, Cillian Murphy, and some boss women)

Sa

For Hispanic soap operas, Alborrada I think has better costuming, but I could be wrong. The story didn't keep me.
