Re: Instant breakfasts?
(Anonymous) 2017-04-24 03:53 am (UTC)(link)They are made with one tube of country pork sausage (mild or hot), 8 to 10 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese (I sometimes use the Mexican blend), and 2 cups Bisquick baking mix. Let the sausage & cheese come to room temperature. Preheat oven to 400*F. Mix everything together (easiest way is to use food safe gloves and your hands). Shape into walnut sized balls, put on an ungreased cookie sheet (the kind with a raised edge all around), and bake 10-12 minutes (until golden brown). You might want to drain them on a paper towel if they are really greasey (depending on the fat content in the sausage). I store mine in a Tupperware container in the refrigerator. I usually eat them cold, but occasionally warm them in the toaster oven or microwave.
