Precisely! It breaks through so many preconcieved roles females have been stuck with for so long. It's revolutionary. Of course, twenty years from now, people will be saying differently, but for now? I completely agree: it is the highest quality sci fi ever created.

Aeryn Sun, Sam Carter, Dana Scully, Janeway, Sci-fi has been doing it for a while before BSG came along.

I am aware, having been a fan of XF and Voyager for the strong roles they gave to females. I was just pointing out that they are bringing females to the forefront in today's society. Right now. Which, I believe, was your point in regards to the show?

I didn't say it doesn't "tackle issues" I just said it's not the best, and that it's a tad overrated. True, it would almost have to be the best thing going because well, the rest have been canceled, but still the other shows are still as awesome as they ever were.

I'm not contesting the idea that the other's aren't as awesome at all! I agree with it, in fact, I'm just saying that I don't think it's overrated. Especially given the fact that its fandom is relatively small, and so is the viewership. Personally, I think it's amazing, but that's just me.

Eh, I love this show, but I thought that most of the women were over sexualized. (except for Roselyn)
