Personally? I've been to the other scifi fandoms, tried out different shows, etc (Firefly, Heroes, The X-Files, every Star Trek, Farscape, Stargate--I could go on). I cannot find a better one than Galactica--and lord knows I've tried, just to see if I'm being too biased. So, really, it's not overrated. It's just that damn good.

Yes. BSG is not my favorite sci-fi ever (that's probably Firefly, Star Wars, or DS9), but that doesn't mean that I don't think it's likely the highest quality one ever created. For the female characters alone...

69: I really preferred the guest art, too, but I don't hate Mister Daily's. It's just his art seems kind of unfinished, and that comes off as quite jarring.

And it's true, you cannot critique the art without about ten people telling you why your opinion is wrong.

80. I've been going back to my 'roots' a lot lately as well. Sailormoon, Gundam Wing, Animorphs, Fushigi Yuugi, L.J. Smith, the older Tamora Pierce books...I've begun to notice that too many of the 'new' series that are out just aren't drawing me in like those did.

Loving all these ReBoot secrets! Started watching the first season in university, and waited impatiently for each new addition. I still even visit the newsgroup now and then to see what's new with the oldschoolers.

I hadn't seen that webcomic before, but it's great cracky fun!
