Whoever you are: I'm glad the community was successful and many people enjoyed it despite it's drawbacks, I'm happy I could make a place that was like that, it changed me as well. I got much more patient and diplomatic from the community. ^__^ So thank you for saying that!! I just announced yesterday that we are officially shutting our doors(since we've pretty much been on hiatus since September!) but the Great Hall will remain open if people from HS still want to speak to eachother in a community forum.

Yeah, a lot of people I know look at FMA as a comedy and it damages something in my brain every time they say it. They act like it changed in season two or, "I don't like the ending, because it's dark." I always have to ask if they remember watching the first five minutes.

The fandom is small, but not entirely dead; people post in the LJ community quite often (try starting a discussion there, you'll get replies!).

As for the headphones, the manga calls them "amplifiers" so they could enhance the Mu powers in some way. In the anime they don't explain the function, but if you think about the scene where Jomy first puts them on, it seems like the headphones have stored Blue's memories and/or feelings (which then overwhelm Jomy).

I still cry when I watch the last episode; Toward the terra holds the title of the sole anime that has ever made me cry.

I've gone to the protests from 2/10 and on.
It seems like ever since Project Chanology started, there's been the frsrs Anons that go to the protests and the "OMG P.O. IS TEARING US APART STOP CARING" Anons. We're doing it because A)No one else is, at least on a worldly level, B)They're effing dangerous, and C) It brings the lulz, the wins, and free cake.
