I see you've gotten some harsh replies because of your secret, but I like how politely you put it, and that you mean no disrespect. No show is for everyone :)

It's a pity that you write 'I miss the fandom'. The truth is the fandom is a big part of the reason I'm into the show in the first place. There are some amazin induviduals about, and some of them write/make excellent stuff that I very much enjoy.

I earned a lot friends from that fandom, so that's something I'll always take with me. I definitely understand where you're coming from; fandom really can amplify your television experience. I have no doubt there are awesome people in SPN fandom! But I didn't want to bring my friends down with my problems with the show. (Though, obviously, I wanted to get it off my chest.)

76) The funny thing is most of them don't really care. They just see it as an excuse to throw their weight around while hiding behind a righteous cause. I'm sure there are a handful of well meaning individuals, but they're outnumbered by the 'FOR THE LULZ' sheep. It's kind of like the crusades, except with more homosexuality. 35. I completely agree. We can only wish and wonder (although most historical babblings I'v read implies it was more a hopeless-crush situation; well, they would imply that wouldn't they? The era being what it was.) There was a good BBC radio documentary on Sassoon a while ago 'In Our Time: Sassoon' broadcast on 7th June 2007'. I believe it is still available to listen to on the website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/history/inourtime/inourtime_20070607.shtml if that doesn't work I have it on mp3 somewhere (though not sure how I'd send it to an anonymous person- lol! Fatal flaw!)

Sam and Dean can completely carry SPN by themselves. Their relationship is what drives the show's plot forward. Every other character on SPN is just there as an assist to Sam and/or Dean. In fact, the show gets worse when they focus too much on the other characters.

Don't worry darlin', you aren't alone. Any anime that would compare itself to Forever Knight on the DVD box is an anime deserving of much love. I agree the fandom is very very small-to-nonexistant, but there's some great stuff out there if you're willing to look for it.

I didn't make them, I found them doing a google search for World of Warcraft (I forget the exact keywords, but it was one of the first images to come up). It was an entire comic strip about how WoW destroys this couple.
