63) If you're anything like me, you got into it before every song was crack :( Oh OldCast...I miss the times when the crackiest song was Moeru ze, Burning Burning! with BackupDancer!Fuji+Eiji+Inui ;_; I can't stand any of the last 5 or 6 myus, just because...ugh :/

For less crack, better singing/acting/dancing, and where-all-the-good-TeniMyu-actors-went, I recommend Rock Musical Bleach (http://community.livejournal.com/burimyu/) ♥

Agreed. I love the crack, but there's too much of it recently... Higamyu was way over the top.

Is there any point in watching burimyus if I stopped reading Bleach about a year ago and don't really remember the plot? :o

Let me put it this way: I stopped watching Bleach after the first few episodes, because the series just got too...shonen for me, I guess. But I absolutely LOVE the musicals (because I love the actors, mostly, and they love the musicals)--so IMHO, you absolutely don't need to know all THAT much of the plot to enjoy the musicals.

I knew the main character was Ichigo, Rukia was a shinigami who made him one too, and that this was bad and she got arrested and sent back to her own world and Ichigo went after her. Characters and plot arcs and everything beyond that were things I learned entirely about through the musicals, pretty much :)

BuriMyu >>>>>>> TeniMyu nowadays (half because they took all the good TeniMyu actors 8D), because it has a healthy balance of crack/hilarity while still being able to be serious and scare the pants off you at times ♥

I do want to watch Burimyu (okay, I admit it, I really want to see Ichimaru!Tuti), but I'm a stickler for not going into musicals without knowing the plot. If I got through all 178 PoT episodes before watching Tenimyu, I can get through the Bleach anime before watching Burimyu.

...or so I keep telling myself, but it's getting kind of hard....

I salute you then, OP! You're a better person than I XD Though--if you've finished the Soul Society arc, you should be good to go :) The musicals just ended for good (or so they SAY...) with the completion of that arc.
