Nope. It's the difference between trolling and activism. Yeah, anon does it for the lulz, and yeah, there's a bunch of /b/tards who just want to wave their dicks around and make Xenu jokes, but most of Project Chanology, and the Enturb fora, and anywhere else stuff actually happens, isn't just "to get a reaction out of a bunch of morons". It's to fight an on-going information war against a scary-ass cult.

Well, I did come off as harsh, and I'd give a tl;dr on why I think 95% of the messages Anonymous spouts off for Project Chanology is utter bullshit, but I do concede that this project was founded to keep the CoS from infringing on people's right to know and I respect that. I know there are people who care and I commend them for caring, and I know the people who don't just add to the headcount and make the people who do care look good.

I just wanted to let the poster know that it's not all "srs business", because if it is, you guys have a kind of shitty way of showing it. But you know, that's to your credit because people wouldn't be interested if the protests weren't staged the way they are.

Yeeeeah, you weren't the only one being harsh. Because yes, a huge chunk of anons are only doing it for the lulz. Next year, they'll have become bored with fighting the good fight and they'll be back to raging against furries or sharing epilepsy-inducing flash vids or whatever the fuck they do when they can spare a hand for the keyboard.

My problem (HI IT'S ALL ABOUT ME NOW) with the OP's secret was the idea that Anonymous should be anything. It's a billionty different people, and the only thing most of us have in common is an internet connection. Now, if the OP would prefer that Anonymous stop trying to take down a cult and go back to hacking their box, well. We can oblige. But first we're going to spread the word about a tax-exempt business that kills people.
