I have been loling for the better part of the day about this. Snooty Instagram rich kids getting fucked over will never stop being entertaining to me.

Uhhhh, source? All the photos I'm seeing are white people in the 18-25 age range. And it was heavily advertised on Instagram, playing up the "lifestyle" angle that's so popular on there.

No sympathy from me, hombre. Most people can't "scrape together" $12k. And if they did in fact fuckin bankrupt themselves on this, then tough titties. Maybe don't blow your life's savings on one event, no matter how awesome it sounds. Get over the entitlement that tells you that you "deserve" to be there. As I read, the festival was supposed to be "cashless" and the kids were told to upload money to digital wristbands to be used while there. Nobody had any cash or credit with them because they were told not to by the organizers.

Okay that changes a lot.

I have an ounce of sympathy for them now...but seriously, why would you not have tangible money on your person anyway...who cares what organizers say. But if you pay all this money to go to a camp ...

If they were going to be at a concert and drinking, it makes a lot of sense to not bring credit cards or cash that you might lose.

That...sounds like such a scam set up. Drop 3k and a festival, then upload the rest of your money to this digital wristband. Suuuure.

But is there a ballpit?
