I guess that some people just feel cool posting about how much they enjoy spending time on 4chan.
The more secrets I read about it, the more I think that these people are 'doing it wrong'.

They couldn't do it more wrong. Me, I lurked for like two years before I jumped into discussions *shakes cane*

And I bet they spend time declaring their feminity on various boards (and wondering why nobody gives a damn).
One of these days, I'm going to make a 4-chan related secret with no newfaggotry and emoticons.

Well, but do you need to? If you have a 4chan-related secret, just post it there, it'd be just as anonymous.

I personally still think 4chan is a good institution to teach newfags some sort of internet humility... of course only as long as they don't start tripfagging, hence undermining the entire principle and never graduating from newfag status, but who am I to talk? I'm just a normal anon rolling my eyes in indifference whenever newfaggotry shows up somewhere.

That's the thing. I can't think of a 4chan-related secret. I mean..nothing I think of it can be considered a secret. I could lie and make up something but one thing I admire about 4chan is its brutal honesty and I pride myself on being brutally honest.
So I guess I'll stay here and continue dissing every 4chan secret created by a overzealous newfag.
The sad thing is that some of them seem to misunderstand the purpose and think that 4chan is their own little LJ.

4chan is not your fucking blog etc.

Actually, the brutal honesty gives me trouble as soon as I come back onto LJ. It sometimes takes me a bit to realize that I'm not Anon anymore, seeing there's a name attached to what I said and that most people aren't /a/ssholes, /m/en or /b/tards.

Then again, diplomacy is for fags.

And the new not-a-spambot challenge on LJ is really fucking annoying.

It's good to know that there are other people on LJ who don't see 4chan as their new playground where they can squee and act as if they were on their personal LJ.

The bitter irony in this is that I might be partially responsible for the influx of newfags from LJ... I got a friend into /b/, who in turn got a (huge) RP on LJ nearly in its entirety onto /y/ and /cm/. I have the slight suspicion the faggotry spread from there.

One thing I have to say, though: No matter how many newfags there are, I never had as many intelligent discussions of any given series as on /a/ and /m/. Even /b/ is occasionally more intelligent than LJ.

Most of the 'brutal honesty' is a personal opinion severely exaggerated for lulz.
