I don't think I'll ever catch up with Shippuden. The last episode I watched was from the Rescuing Gaara arc. I genuinely like the manga, so I'd like to finish the anime one day, but the number of episodes makes me feel exhausted and I just don't have time for it.

That's why I usually don't start animes that have an excessively long episode count, I just rarely have the patience for filler anymore. But I often need tv to help me turn off my brain at night and anything that is too interesting runs the risk of waking me up, so I for some reason started going with Shippuden a while back.

I honestly don't pay attention to every episode and sometimes I turn it on when I'm doing something else, but they repeat information A LOT so it's usually not a problem. The rescue Gaara arc definitely took fucking forever.
