I'm getting really tired of some fans insisting that Only Ever Shown To Be Into Women In Canon male characters are gay and it's "totally canon" and if you ship them with women you're homophobic and an awful person.

Honestly? That's pretty much any fandom. I see that A LOT in Star Trek fandom, especially the Nu!Trek fandom.

I mean, I love Kirk/Bones, but shown, IN CANON, Kirk LOVES the ladies. It's why Kirk/Bones is a crackship.

Oh, yeah, I remember all the butthurt over Spohura. "Wah, they're just doing it to spite us and for homophobia"

But you gotta admit bioware fans are a cut above, because bioware tries to make the fans happy, and each choice they made lead to wank. What the fuck is wrong with a fandom where the devs hear the complaints and accusations of homophobia about characters being straight only romance options, make the sequel where anyone the player chooses would be open to any variation of romance, and the fandom still kicks off about the obvious homophobia?
