I mean in RoTJ Vader makes a comment threatening to try and take her if he can't get Luke, yeah?

Overall though I mean, its pretty obvious that no one ever tries to turn her to the dark side cause she isn't trained as a jedi and doesn't seem interested in doing so. Idk how hard or easy it would be to turn her if that was an option, but I can see both arguments (she has very strong moral convictions not to mention that Vader destroyed her entire planet, but also she might turn to anger and hatred easier due to that very reason.)

Yeah...I think it might have been in the novelization of ESB (I am too lazy to walk across the room and pick it up) that Leia seriously considered letting Chewie kill Lando after Han was put in carbonite. Pretty much because Anger and Revenge.

She also had to deal with the loss of her entire planet and the only family she ever knew (before Luke but they didn't grow up together and only really figured out being siblings much later I think). Not to mention you know, interrogation/torture by Darth Vader. Hell, even all the political BS that came with the New Republic after the Emperor's death. I bet it felt tempting more than once to just make people do what was good for them.

Maybe she wasn't directly tempted by a Sith (like Vader or Palpatine) but I'm quite certain she was tempted by the Dark Side.

I hate the meme that goes around putting down Luke and company in order to elevate Leia too (like an above anon mentions). I think Leia is cool enough in her own right that that isn't necessary.

Yup. In my mind, if Leia went dark, she wouldn't join the Sith (or the Empire or the First ORder). She'd be the sort of well intentioned extremist who started crossing her own boundaries to fight for the things she believed to be right. Eventually I could see her being dark enough that she thought that her ruling the galaxy could fix all the problems. So dark, but not ever joining the Empire.

Now I want someone (who's a better writer than me) to write that.

I want people who are better than me at things to do all the things for me too. :(

Dude, that was a plot point worry in Bloodline. When the Senate finds out she was actually biologically Vader's daughter? They pretty much go "NOPE. You can't be First Senator now. We don't need a new Vader/Palpatine, kthxbai."

I think it's also the case that no one who would turn her to the dark side knows who she really is. Until ROTJ, only Obi Wan and Yoda know she's Anakin's daughter, so why would Palpatine or Vader even think to turn her? As far as they know, there's no turning to be done.

In Bloodline, they actually have a small moment in the book where she does something like that. It's a split second like moment, where she ends up SUPER PISSED OFF at what this one Senator rival did to her that she just felt this profound hatred that it just took her so completely by surprise.

That's when she has this sort of epiphany about Vader. She's wondering if that was what had happened to him. With everything Luke had told her about Vader/Anakin, it gives her a slight glimpse into how and why Anakin fell to the Dark Side.

Which is awesome because I LOVE how Leia is so much like Anakin, and yet isn't. Same for Luke and Padme and ok I'ma gonna start rambling now and I'ma go.
