Well, that depends.

Are they actually chapters belonging to the same fic? Then yes, they should totally be posted as such.

Are those fics standalones that are kinda connected, like take place in the same universe or sometimes refer to each other? Then they should totally be posted as a series.

Are those fics standalones that feature the same pairing but don't have anything else connecting them? Then they should be posted as separate fics.

And yes, I'm saying this as a rarepair shipper who often gets excited and then disappointed, too.
