Same, tbh. I download and edit the ones I want to keep, though.

Yeah I kind of wonder if those messages even work at all. I don't ever subscribe because a video asked me too, I only subscribe to channels I really enjoy (and a lot of those don't have those messages.)

Well to be fair, a lot of those parody songs end up on iTunes for $$, so naturally, they want you to buy the song there instead of listening to it repeatedly on youtube for free. But that said, I agree. I find it annoying too.

I had this happen the other day. There was a song I really liked on youtube but it had like a minute or two of talking at the end. I was annoyed for about a second before I remembered they would probably prefer it if people paid for their music rather than ripping it. Their reasoning for it is probably half promoting themselves, and half an attempt to make things harder for piracy. Getting offended about that makes about as much sense as getting mad at an artist for using watermarks.

Did not see it on music but on narrated videos ... usually before and after proper parts.

It's the worst. And it means that I will download the song and only listen to it that way, instead of giving the video more hits ever again. So it's just a stupid fucking thing to do.
