I've always been accused in the context of my fiction, so I could usually see it if I squinted hard enough. Sometimes I had no way to predict it in advance, though, like when I wrote a story about orcs and someone thought it was stereotyping Native Americans. I still don't entirely understand how you get Native Americans out of orcs.

Were your Orcs running a casino? Or were they demanding money with menaces from people who wanted to write about Orcish culture but didn't use an obligatory Orcish consultant?
