Er if the conversation is to the point of "I don't bottom" I'm pretty sure nobody is mistaking the user of that phrase for "I'm 100% straight bro but I don't like women sticking things in my ass cuz that gay." The number of 100% straight men I know that would reference themselves as either a bottom or not-a-bottom is zero.
